From a humble begining to the creation of a new era of Superbiking in Malaysia.

Syarikat Motorcycle Sales Centre, or MSC, as it is popularly known, began operations 35 years ago in 1973. Operating from a modest shop lot in Section 16, Petaling Jayra, this establishment was run by three main personnel backed by a skeletal crew of administion staff. MSC catered mainly to mainly to university students who needed to get thier mopeds or "cub-chai" bikes serviced and repaired. In addition, this little shop offered the renewel of Road Tax and Insurance services.

In 1977, the company moved to the adjacent shop lot, which it later purchased. However, the main turning point occurred in 1978 with a change in Board of Directors and shareholders. To date, Mazlan Dato's Harun remains as Chairman but is now joint by Ali Mazlan Harun , Omar Mazlan Harun, Yee Siow Ying and Intan Alisa Mazlan Harun.

A dramatic turn of events occurred in 1984,when MSC was graned AP or Approved Permits by the Ministry of trade, to bring a large capacity motorcycles from overseas. MSC was allowed to bring in 600 units of motorcycles above the 150cc mark annually. This set the platform for MSC to be main driving force behind this new age of Superbiking in Malaysia for the furure.

The annual turnover steadily rose to RM3 million per annum. The number of staff increased from three to thirteen. Business was expanding so rapidly that the company bought the original premises from which it had earlier moved out. MSC now occupied two shop lots , the year was 1986.

Subsequently the economic downturn in Malaysia occurred and testimony to this was the recession that lasted a few grueling years. MSC survived the 'lean' years concentrating on after sales service and the sale of used bikes.

It was a difficult time but the company survived. In 1989, things started to look brighter. The Malaysian economy picked up quickly and sales blossomed again for MSC.

From a single shop lot in 1973, MSC now occupies four shop lots in Section 16, Petaling Jaya. A new showroom in Penang was formed. There was not a single true biker in Malaysia who has not heard about the shop called "MSC" . Even bikers from abroad have made it a point to stop by the shop to check it out.

In addition to sales of new and used superbikes, MSC also offers a comprehensive selection of quality aftermarket accessories that caters to every class of bikers.

In addition, MSC provides off-road trial riding which opens the door to a different riding experience and an array of motorcycles and accessories exclusive to this type of riding enthusiast.

In an effort to further improve the after sales service, MSC acquired a Dynojet Dynamometer machine, which effectively diagnoses and pinpoint problem areas without the need of road testing. With the availability of this new machine, time consumption on servicing bike will be eliminated.Costing almost RM40,000.00 for this machine, it is obvious that MSC takes seriously the task of keeping bike owners safe and happy.

It is said that a company is only as good as the people who make it. With the success and accomplishments that Motorcycle Sales Centre has achieved, it is clear that this company assets are not only motorcycles but people as well.

To date, Motorcycle Sales Centre Sdn Bhd, has thirty four years of experience. Run by bikers for bikers, this company strives to continue to be at the forefront of this industry for many more years.
